WWE Clash in Paris 2025 is almost here. The international premium live event will take place on August 31, 2025, at the famous Paris La Défense Arena. Fans are excited as the card is stacked with names like Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, John Cena, and many more.
This show has the potential to become one of WWE’s biggest highlights of the year. But for that to happen, Triple H must avoid some major mistakes that could harm storylines and disappoint the audience.
Here are three things that must not go wrong at WWE Clash in Paris.
Don’t let Bronson Reed defeat Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns is booked to face Bronson Reed in a singles clash. Reed has been involved with the OTC storyline and is showing his power, but giving him a clean win over Reigns would be a mistake.
Roman is still considered one of WWE’s strongest characters. A sudden loss against Reed will weaken his image, especially when fans are already questioning the direction of the Original Tribal Chief’s arc.
Also, WWE is slowly building towards another Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins rivalry. If Roman takes a loss to a Vision member before that, his momentum will drop, and the storyline won’t feel as impactful.
Reed can still look strong in defeat, but Reigns must be protected at all costs.
Avoid a weak finish in the World Title Fatal Four-Way
One of the most anticipated matches is the World Heavyweight Championship Fatal Four-Way featuring Seth Rollins, CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso. With so much star power, this bout has the potential to steal the show.
But if WWE books a predictable or boring ending, it will ruin the hype. Fans do not want to see another recycled finish where Rollins retains after outside interference from The Vision.
If Rollins is going to keep his title, the finish should be strong, clean, and memorable. Punk, Knight, and Uso all deserve to look like real contenders, and only a clever finish will keep the fans engaged. A weak ending here could make the match feel like just another TV main event instead of a pay-per-view classic.
Not bringing back Brock Lesnar

Another big mistake would be not having Brock Lesnar return at Clash in Paris. With John Cena vs. Logan Paul on the card, this show is the perfect place to set up Lesnar’s next chapter.
Rumors suggest WWE is planning a Cena vs. Lesnar clash at Wrestlepalooza. If that is true, then Lesnar’s surprise return in Paris would be the ideal way to start that feud. Imagine Lesnar destroying Cena mid-match, giving Logan Paul the victory. This would shock the audience and create massive buzz for the upcoming event.
A surprise appearance from The Beast is exactly the kind of twist that could make Clash in Paris unforgettable.
