WWE Intercontinental Championship: Three Father-Son Duos Who Won the Title
1. Mr. Perfect and Curtis Axel

Mr. Perfect whose real name was Curt Hennig, is one of the greatest WWE wrestlers. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship two times in the late 1980s.
With the help of Paul Heyman, his son Curtis Axel also took home this title in 2013, making them the first father-son team to do so.
2. Jey Uso and Rikishi

Rikishi was a popular WWE wrestler in the early 2000s. He won the WWE Intercontinental Championship once, in 2000 and that was a big moment in his career.
Twenty-four years later, his son Jey Uso won the title by beating Bron Breakker on RAW in 2024. Jey Uso joined the list of wrestlers who have won this title, following in his father’s footsteps.
3. Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio

The WWE Intercontinental Championship has been an important title in WWE’s history. These three father-son duos have won this title and added to WWE’s rich history.
