WWE is gearing up for WrestleMania 41, featuring top stars from both RAW and SmackDown. Tonight’s RAW will bring together several superstars who will play key roles at the grand event.
Ahead of the show, WWE’s official X/Twitter account posted a video of Adam Pearce, where he made crucial announcements regarding tonight’s matches. One of the biggest revelations was a title match being made official.
Adam Pearce Confirms Huge Matches for RAW
In his video announcement, Adam Pearce stated:
“Alright everybody, Adam Pearce fresh off the plane in beautiful Glasgow, Scotland. Honored to bring you Monday Night RAW live tomorrow night where John Cena and Cody Rhodes will be under the same roof. Will John have a response to what Cody had to say last week? Tune in and find out. Speaking of last week, we saw how the show went off the air. Bron Breakker and Penta face to face. We ain’t gotta wait long to see them go at it because BREAKING NEWS, tomorrow live on RAW the Intercontinental Championship’s on the line. Bron Breakker one-one-one with Penta.”
Pearce also confirmed that Dragon Lee will finally go head-to-head with Chad Gable, while Lyra Valkyria will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. Additionally, CM Punk will make an appearance, and Jey Uso will team up with a mystery partner to take on A-Town Down Under.
What to Expect from John Cena and Cody Rhodes’ Showdown
Last week, John Cena remained silent during his face-off with Cody Rhodes. Former WWE Champion Big E shared his thoughts on what fans can expect when these two superstars meet again in Glasgow. On an episode of RAW Recap, Big E said:
“Yeah, man. It’s two masters of the mic. Two guys who know themselves through and through. It’s this new version of John Cena. Again, that’s not the only layer. I know there is another layer of Cena that needs to be peeled back. So, I can’t wait for Monday.”
Cena and Rhodes’ confrontation is another major step on the road to WrestleMania 41. At the upcoming PLE, Rhodes will defend his undisputed WWE championship against Cena, who is aiming to make history by winning his 17th World Championship.
With high-stakes matches, shocking surprises, and WrestleMania drama building up, tonight’s RAW promises to be a must-watch event.
