Last week on WWE RAW, CM Punk had a heated face off with Roman Reigns, who won the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble. Reigns made it clear that he wants a title match against Punk at WrestleMania 42 for the World Heavyweight Championship. Reports suggest Reigns may not appear on tonight’s RAW, but CM Punk is expected to show up.

Because of that, fans are curious about what he might do on the show. Here are some possible things that could happen.

He Might Respond to Roman Reigns

Even if Roman Reigns is not present, CM Punk could still speak about him. Last week ended with strong words from Reigns, so Punk may reply with his own message.

He could remind everyone that he is still champion and say he plans to stay champion after WrestleMania 42. Punk is known for strong mic skills, so this type of segment would not surprise fans.

He Could Call Out Finn Balor

Before the Royal Rumble story with Reigns, Punk already had tension with Finn Balor. Balor attacked him during a match earlier, which stopped the contest and left Punk hurt in the ring.

Since that issue is not fully settled, Punk might shift focus toward Balor tonight. Calling him out could lead to another big rivalry.

Possible Attack from Judgment Day

Another possibility is that Finn Balor does not wait for words and instead attacks Punk. Dominik Mysterio recently returned and could support Balor.

If Judgment Day targets Punk together, it could give them a mental edge before any future match. This type of storyline often builds drama before major events.

Championship Match Challenge Could Happen

There is also a chance that Balor challenges Punk directly for the World Heavyweight Championship. A face to face confrontation could set up a future match.

Punk might not accept an instant match on RAW. Instead, he could suggest a bigger event such as Elimination Chamber, possibly in Chicago, which would give fans a hometown hero main event.
