Throughout his WWE tenure, Steve Austin caused a stir for having a boisterous and outspoken nature and being a fierce in-ring opponent. Austin, a six-time WWE Champion, starred alongside Adam Sandler in the comedy The Longest Yard in 2005. His most prominent performance, though, was in the 2007 action film The Condemned, which was made by WWE.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson entered the big screen and became an instant hit after a protracted career in the WWE, where he beat up many jabronis. The former wrestling champion has made quite the impression in Hollywood, appearing in blockbusters including Hercules, Jumanji, and the Fast & Furious series.

Kevin Nash, formerly known as “Big Sexy” in wrestling professionally, was welcomed into the 2015 class of the WWE Hall of Fame. Nash has not only won championships but also left his mark on each of the three major professional wrestling organisations that are still in existence. Some of his notable cinematic roles include The Punisher, The Longest Yard, John Wick, and the Magic Mike trilogy.

Kane (actual name Glenn Jacobs) has had numerous feuds and makeovers in the realm of professional wrestling over the past 20+ years. Despite working long hours on the road, Kane made time out of his busy schedule to star as the psychopath Jacob Goodnight in the horror thriller See No Evil in 2006. He reprised his performance in the same role in a 2014 sequel.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley was Triple H’s ring moniker in the beginning of his WWE career. He now plays a crucial role in running the company’s daily business while still managing to look trim as he approaches 50. Hunter still makes the occasional cameo in the ring at notable events, while now spending the majority of his time in a suit and tie. But a few years ago, when he was cast in films like The Chaperone and Blade: Trinity, it seemed like he was ready for a bigger Hollywood part.
