WrestleMania 41 is almost here, but some of WWE’s biggest names still don’t have a major rivalry heading into the event. Every year, top stars hope to land big matches on the grandest stage, but not everyone gets the opportunity they deserve.

Some superstars seem to be stuck in a cycle of missed chances, while others might find better success outside WWE. With that in mind, here are four WWE stars who might consider leaving after WrestleMania 41.

WWE Stars Who Could Leave After WrestleMania 41

1. Chad Gable Deserves a Bigger Spotlight

Chad Gable is one of the most talented wrestlers in WWE. His technical abilities and in-ring storytelling have earned him a devoted fanbase. Despite even though having rivalries with large names like Gunther and Sami Zayn, he hasn’t been able to secure a singles championship.

Even though he gets a variety of TV time uncooked, WWE has not given him the push he sincerely deserves. If he acted in another advertisement like NJPW or TNA, he could ultimately get a pinnacle singles run and prove himself as a major occasion celebrity.

2. Shinsuke Nakamura Is Stuck in the Mid-Card

Shinsuke Nakamura had an amazing start in WWE, dominating NXT before making a splash on the main roster. However, over the years, his momentum has slowed down. He has been booked as an enhancement talent too often, making it hard for fans to believe he will ever win a world title in WWE.

His recent United States Championship run wasn’t impressive, and he mostly helped push other wrestlers forward. Moving back to Japan or joining TNA could give him the world title run he never got in WWE, helping him finish his career on a high note.

3. AJ Styles Has Been Overlooked for Too Long

AJ Styles is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. His WWE Championship reigns in 2016 and 2017 were legendary. However, it’s been almost seven years since he last held the top title.

Instead of being in the main event scene, Styles has been used to build up other champions. While injuries have played a role in slowing him down, it’s clear that WWE is not planning another big title run for him.

At this stage of his career, he might consider returning to TNA, the company where he became a superstar. There, he could have one final world title reign before retiring on his own terms.
