Survivor Series: WarGames 2025 is set to be one of WWE’s biggest and most important events of the year. With the show closing out the 2025 calendar, WWE will use it to set the stage for 2026. This year’s card promises chaos, surprises, and major storyline shifts.

The men’s WarGames match is especially exciting, as it features Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and possibly Roman Reigns teaming up as a trio that could either dominate or self-destruct. With huge egos and personal rivalries on one team, the question remains: can they actually coexist?

Let’s look at four things WWE should do at Survivor Series: WarGames to make this event unforgettable and set the tone for the future.

Stephanie Vaquer Must Retain Her Women’s World Title

Stephanie Vaquer has been one of the brightest stars in the women’s division since winning the vacant Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza in September. The title changed hands earlier in the year due to Naomi’s pregnancy, but Vaquer has brought stability and star power back to the belt.

If WWE wants to build a strong women’s division going into 2026, Vaquer must retain the title. On RAW, tensions between her and Nikki Bella hinted at a possible match in San Diego. Bella can challenge, but she doesn’t need to win not at this stage of her career. Letting Vaquer continue her reign will keep the division strong and consistent.

Heels Need to Win at Least One WarGames Match

In 2024, the heroes won both WarGames matches, which made the villains look weak. WWE can’t afford to repeat that mistake. The Vision, even without Seth Rollins, needs to come out looking dangerous.

With stars like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Jey Uso, and possibly Roman Reigns on one team, it’s hard to imagine them losing. But if WWE wants The Vision to remain a credible threat, they need a victory here even if it comes through controversial tactics or interference.

The same logic applies to the women’s WarGames match. With a lineup full of champions and fan favorites on the face side, WWE will need to balance things out by letting the heels take one major win on the night.

Drew McIntyre Attacks Cody Rhodes

Drew McIntyre’s rivalry with Cody Rhodes is far from over, even though SmackDown GM Nick Aldis suspended McIntyre last week. The Scottish Warrior still believes he was cheated, and he’s not wrong Cody has been bending rules without consequence for months.

A shocking return from McIntyre during WarGames would be the perfect way to cost Team Punk the victory. Whether it happens before the match, during the chaos, or right at the end, an attack on Rhodes would not only reignite their feud but also give the heels a reason to celebrate.

This would also set up McIntyre’s redemption arc or darker heel run heading into 2026.

A Major Heel Turn Changes Everything

The men’s WarGames match can’t end in a predictable way. A clean victory for Team Punk would be satisfying but forgettable. The best way to make headlines and get people talking is with a shocking heel turn.

Someone from Team Punk needs to betray the group. CM Punk should stay face since he’s carrying RAW’s top storylines, but the others are all possibilities. Jey Uso would be the most emotional choice, considering his past with Reigns and the fans’ connection to him. However, turning Cody Rhodes might be even bigger.

Rhodes has already shown flashes of arrogance lately, and a heel turn could push him into a new chapter as WWE’s top villain. Even turning someone unexpected, like LA Knight, would create fresh storylines heading into Royal Rumble season.
