Roman Reigns is getting ready for a huge moment at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. He will be part of the main event once again, this time facing Seth Rollins and CM Punk in a Triple Threat Match on Saturday night.
This will be Reigns’ 10th WrestleMania main event, which is a big record in WWE. But there is also talk that he might walk away from his Tribal Chief role during this event. And if that happens, someone new could take over the title.
Let’s look at some signs that show Roman Reigns may be ready to pass the torch and name a new Tribal Chief at WrestleMania 41.
1. Paul Heyman is no longer with Reigns
Paul Heyman has been Roman’s manager and trusted advisor the “Wiseman” for almost five years. But recently, things changed. Heyman decided to support CM Punk instead at WrestleMania, leaving Reigns behind.
This betrayal could be a big reason why Roman steps away from his current role. If the Wiseman isn’t by his side anymore, maybe Reigns doesn’t see himself as the Tribal Chief either.
2. Roman’s old promise at the Hall of Fame
Last year, Roman gave a speech when he inducted Paul Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame. In that speech, he said something important if he’s ever without Heyman, then the Tribal Chief will no longer exist.
Now that Heyman is gone, Roman may keep that promise. This would make his WrestleMania match even more emotional, and it would tie back to a moment many fans remember.
3. Jey Uso could be the next Tribal Chief
Jey Uso has always been close to Roman. They were once in a strong team during The Bloodline storyline. At SummerSlam 2023, Jey even fought Roman for both the championship and the Tribal Chief title. He didn’t win then, but things could change now.
With Jey now going up against Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41, there’s a chance Roman might finally crown Jey as the new Tribal Chief. It would be a powerful way to show respect and trust in family.
