The event will kick off on April 1 (April 2 in India) as the first match will see the 16-time World Champion John Cena take on the United States Champion, Austin Theory. The rivalry between the two began when Theory challenged Cena on the March 6th episode of WWE Raw. Cena initially refused but then went on to verbally defeat Theory before accepting the challenge.

The SmackDown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair will defend her title against the 2023 Royal Rumble winner, Rhea Ripley. The match between the two is expected to be the main event for the first night.

The Raw Women’s Championship match will feature the Champion, Bianca Belair and Asuka. Asuka earned her right to challenge for the title by winning an Elimination Chamber match where she defeated Liv Morgan, Nikki Cross, Raquel Rodriguez, Carmella and Natalya.

In what could be the main event for the second night April 2 (April 3 in India) the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns will defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against the 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes.

The other members of The Bloodline and the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos will defend their belt against the recently united Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. The match would have been next to impossible a month and a half ago as Sami Zayn was part of the Bloodline as an Honorary Uce.

The Intercontinental Champion, Gunther is set to defend his title in a triple-threat match against Drew McIntyre and Sheamus.

Non-championship matches

The social media star and popular Youtuber Logan Paul will face the Architect Seth Rollins in WWE Wrestlemania 39.  In one of the most disappointing match-up according to WWE fans, Omos will take on the former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.

Edge will take on Finn Balor in a Hell In A Cell match. Edge established The Judgment Day alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley about a year ago, but Finn Balor snatched the faction from him. The Rated-R-Superstar has been on a rampage to wipe out the same organization he founded ever since.

The most exciting match-up of the event would be the battle of Mysterios. The former WWE Champion Rey Mysterio is set to take on his son Dominik Mysterio.

In the Tag-Team division, there are three matches lined up for WrestleMania. In a 6-Women Tag-Team match, we will see Trish Stratus, Lita and Becky Lynch take on Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky).

There are two fatal 4-way Tag-Team matches set to take place on WrestleMania. The Men’s fatal 4-way Tag-Team match will have Braun Strowman and Ricochet vs The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford vs Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) vs The Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar).

The other fatal 4-way Tag-Team match is Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez vs Natalya and Shotzi vs Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler vs Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville.
