Solid Knock by Yashasvi Jaiswal in Manchester

In the first innings of the Manchester Test, Jaiswal scored a steady 58 runs off 107 balls. He looked in good touch before getting out to Liam Dawson. It was the first ball of the 41st over when a delivery from Dawson took the outside edge of Jaiswal’s bat, and Harry Brook safely completed the catch. Interestingly, this was Dawson’s first Test wicket in more than eight years.

Before his dismissal, Jaiswal had stitched together a solid 94-run opening stand with KL Rahul, who scored 46. After Rahul’s departure, he added another 26 runs for the second wicket with debutant Sai Sudharsan.
