Zagreb Open 2026: List Of Wrestlers In Team India Ft. Aman Sehrawat

The Zagreb Open 2026 wrestling tournament gets underway in Croatia on February 4. This marks the opening leg of the UWW Ranking Series 2026.

It is a high-stakes event where athletes compete for world ranking points early in the season. it’s a high-stakes event where athletes are competing for world ranking points early in the season.

India will be represented by a 41-member team in the tournament. While 16 wrestlers entered across 10 men’s freestyle weight categories, 15 women grapplers are competing in 10 divisions. Greco-Roman will feature 10 Indian wrestlers.

Aman Sehrawat, the youngest Indian to win an Olympic medal, will compete in the men’s 61kg freestyle category at the Zagreb Open this time, moving up from his usual 57kg class. He has enjoyed success at the Zagreb Open in the past, having won gold in 2024 and claimed bronze in 2023 — both in the 57kg category.

Olympian and two-time World Wrestling Championships bronze medallist Antim Panghal will represent India in the women’s 53kg division. Anjali Kachhawa will join Antim in the same category.

Asian Championships medallists Nisha (women’s 57kg) and Nitesh (men’s 97kg Greco-Roman) will also be among the key contenders.
