The 2nd Women’s Doubles is next as Thailand’s Puttita Supajirakul/Sapsiree Taerattanachai ranked 22nd was up against Treesa Jolly/Gayathri Gopichand of India. The pair from Thailand, won in two straight games 21-17, 21-16 in about forty-eight minutes. Thus, Thailand 4-0 India.
Meanwhile, the last fixture of the tie is the 3rd Women’s Singles, where the 16-year-old from India Tasnim Mir faced Thailand’s Supanida Katethong. The 33rd Ranked Supanida Katethong won in two straight games 21-19, 21-15 as the match lasted for about 40 minutes. With this, Thailand 5-0 India.
As a result, Thailand won 5-0 against India in the Group B encounter of the 2020 Uber Cup.
