After a five-week pause, Formula E returns this weekend with one of its most iconic stops- the Berlin E-Prix double-header.
Rounds 7 and 8 of the 2026 season will take place at the legendary Tempelhof Airport Circuit, a venue that has featured on every Formula E calendar since the very first season.
This year’s event is already sold out, and there’s plenty on the line.
Why Berlin E-Prix matters this year
All eyes are on Pascal Wehrlein, who heads into the weekend leading the drivers’ standings by 11 points over Edoardo Mortara.
On the team side, Porsche Formula E Team sits on top, but Jaguar TCS Racing is closing in fast.
Jaguar, in fact, looks like the team to beat right now. They dominated the last round in Madrid with a one-two finish, and they’ve won three of the last four races thanks to drivers like Mitch Evans and António Félix da Costa.
A more interesting thing is that Jaguar swept both Berlin races last season.

How to watch the Berlin E-Prix live
The Berlin E-Prix will be broadcast globally, with coverage varying by region.
Fans can watch the races through official Formula E broadcast partners and streaming platforms. In many regions, races are available via sports networks or digital streaming services tied to motorsport coverage.
For real-time updates, highlights, and live tracking, Formula E’s official channels and apps will also provide full coverage throughout the weekend.
Berlin is always unpredictable. The Tempelhof circuit, built on an old airfield, creates unique racing conditions with wide run-offs and tricky grip levels. Strategy, energy management, and timing often decide races here more than outright speed.
With the championship battle heating up and Jaguar carrying serious momentum, this double-header could shift the title race in a big way.
