Riot Games has officially announced the second round of playtesting for 2XKO, bringing exciting gameplay updates and a brand-new champion. Players will get a chance to experience these changes firsthand from April 18 to April 20.

Jinx Joins the Roster

For the first time, Jinx will be a playable character in 2XKO. She joins a strong lineup of champions, including Braum, Ekko, Yasuo, Darius, Ahri, and Illaoi. Her chaotic playstyle? A game-changer. Expect explosive action and high-energy combat.

New Fuse Mechanics Introduced

Riot Games has made some serious tweaks since the first Alpha Lab test. Two new fuse mechanics are in play:

  • Sidekick Fuse: Boosts the active champion’s health and defense but you can’t swap in the assist champion.
  • Juggernaut Fuse: The assist champion is out, but their buffs transfer to the active fighter, making them a powerhouse.

Meanwhile, the Pulse Fuse is gone. Replacing it? The Pulse Combo setting, designed to make combat smoother and more balanced.

New Skins and Battle Passes

New skins are coming in Alpha Lab 2, bringing fresh looks to your favorite champions. Plus, battle passes will let players unlock exclusive rewards as they progress. More ways to show off your style while climbing the ranks.

Ranked Mode and Competitive Climbing

One of the biggest updates? Ranked Mode. If you’ve played other Riot competitive games, you know the drill. Now, 2XKO players can grind the ranks, from Aspirant all the way to Challenger:

  • Aspirant
  • Iron
  • Bronze
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Emerald
  • Diamond
  • Master
  • Grandmaster
  • Challenger

This ranking system means more competition, more skill development, and more bragging rights.

How to Join 2XKO Alpha Lab 2

Want to play? Sign up on Riot Games’ official website for a chance at an invite. If you played Alpha Lab 1, you’re already in for Alpha Lab 2 no need to reapply.

A catch, though: this playtest is limited to the United States, Canada, and Brazil. Riot Games has promised a larger test closer to the full launch, so stay tuned.

With a new champion, fresh mechanics, and competitive ranked play, 2XKO Alpha Lab 2 is shaping up to be an epic experience. Keep an eye out for more updates as Riot gets closer to the full release!
