Chris Gayle, one of the world’s greatest batsmen, has thanked India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for giving the Corona vaccine to Caribbean countries. The explosive West Indies batsman thanked PM Modi and the people of India through a video message.

Gayle, popularly known as ‘Universe Boss’ in the cricket world, said, ”I want to thank the Government of India, PM Modi, and the people of India for giving the Corona vaccine. We appreciate this decision.”

India is playing an important role in the campaign against the coronavirus and is providing a large number of corona vaccine supplements to Caribbean countries for free.

Under the ‘Vaccine Friendship’ campaign, the Government of India is engaged in providing indigenous corona vaccine to other countries.

Before Jamaica, India has donated many other countries to the Corona vaccine. This includes Bhutan, Maldives, Mauritius, Bahrain, Nepal, Bangladesh, Canada, and Sri Lanka.

Earlier, the legendary West Indies cricketer Vivian Richards also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for delivering the Corona vaccine to Caribbean countries.
