Shikhar Dhawan, Delhi Capitals star opener has surpassed Mr. IPL Suresh Raina to become the 2nd highest run-scorer in IPL. Dhawan achieved this feat on Thursday against KKR. Dhawan has now more than 5500 runs.
The highest run-scorer is still Virat Kohli with 6041 runs. Shikhar Dhawan came down him onto the second position on Thursday in the match against KKR. On Thursday Delhi Capitals faced KKR where DC defeated KKR by 7 wickets.

Shikhar Dhawan provided a blistering start to DC and he scored 46 runs. Along with this inning, he also achieved the feat of becoming the 2nd highest run-scorer. It is to be noted that he is currently the orange cap holder of this season.
