Rinku, known for his powerful hitting, got India’s innings going with a series of boundaries and sixes. The left-hander took control, scoring his half-century in style as he easily sent Tanzim’s deliveries to the boundary—a pull shot past fine leg, a beautiful drive through extra cover, and a top-edged six over the keeper’s head.

Nitish Kumar Reddy Joins the Attack

Rinku’s partner, the young Nitish Kumar Reddy, quickly got into action, hitting leg-spinner Rishad for a four and a six on consecutive balls. The momentum swung in India’s favor, with the team reaching 100 by the halfway mark, thanks to a strong finish of 39 runs in the last two overs of the first half.

Bangladesh’s senior all-rounder, Mahmudullah, had a difficult time with the ball as he conceded 15 runs in his first over. During his spell, he was seen struggling with no-balls and wides, and Sai Kishore Reddy took advantage of the same and smashed him for a stunning six on the free-hit delivery.

Rinku Singh persisted, scoring 24 runs off of Rishad’s over with a variety of outstanding blows, such as a forceful pull shot over midwicket. Taskin Ahmed’s delivery caught him at deep midwicket, ending his exciting century. Taskin was Bangladesh’s top bowler with 2/16, although his efforts were overshadowed by Rinku and the middle-order Indians’ explosive batting.

Rinku Singh Celebrated In A Special Way

After reaching fifty, Rinku celebrated quietly, pointing to his new tattoo that says ‘God’s Plan’ and then looking up to the sky in a moment of relief.
