Netflix will soon be the new home of WWE Monday Night RAW, starting in January 2025. Netflix and WWE’s parent company, TKO, signed a $5 billion deal to bring RAW to the platform. Fans are excited because there will be fewer rules on what can be shown.
Netflix has also asked for certain superstars to appear on RAW.
Here are five WWE stars who could be the face of RAW on Netflix.
1. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes, also known as “The American Nightmare,” is a top name Netflix wants. Right now, he’s on SmackDown, but Netflix might bring him to RAW. Cody became a huge star after beating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. With a big fan base and as WWE’s top face, Cody is a perfect choice for RAW on Netflix.
2. Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns, also called “The Tribal Chief,” is another big star Netflix has asked for. Even though Cody beat him, Roman is still super popular. He has been WWE’s top star for 10 years. His rivalry with Solo Sikoa is a hot topic. It’s no surprise Netflix wants Roman to bring his star power to RAW.
3. Gunther
Gunther, the current World Heavyweight Champion, could also be the face of RAW on Netflix. Known as the “Ring General,” Gunther broke the record with his long Intercontinental Championship reign. His skills in the ring are respected by WWE legends like The Undertaker. Gunther’s talent and leadership could make him perfect for RAW’s move to Netflix.
4. CM Punk
CM Punk’s return to WWE was a big surprise. After leaving in 2014, Punk came back in 2023 at Survivor Series: WarGames. He was once a top star in WWE and has a loyal fanbase. Now that Triple H is leading WWE, Punk’s relationship with the company has improved. He could be a strong choice to lead RAW on Netflix.
5. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins, known as “Freakin’ Rollins,” is another possible face for RAW on Netflix. Rollins has been a top star for over 10 years. He’s won many championships, including the first World Heavyweight Championship. His current rivalry with Bronson Reed and possible storyline with CM Punk make him a key player for RAW on Netflix.
As WWE RAW moves to Netflix, we can expect new changes and storylines. Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Gunther, CM Punk, and Seth Rollins are the top superstars who could lead RAW on this new platform.
