West Ham had been winless in last 3 Premier League away games against Burnley, last winning at Turf Moor in May 2017. Burnley have also been winless in their last 7 Premier League home games. The match kicked off and Burnley started playing a possession-based football. Just before the 20-minute mark Chris Wood was fouled by Soucek in the penalty box and penalty was awarded to Burnley. West Ham kept on pressing and Antonio scored again in the 29th minute with a peach of an assist by Benrahma in the penalty box. In 30 minutes of the game, the whole scenario changed. Burnley in the second half created some really good chances. Vydra and Rodriguez had some great chances to score but both of them failed to convert it. The game ended with a victory for West ham at Turf Moor and it helped the David Moyes and company to finish at 5th place in the Premier League table. With 4 more games to go, it would be a tough fight for West Ham to get into the Champions League spot.
