IPL postponement not only left many players saddened but also those involved around it too. One of the prominent commentators, New Zealand’s player turned commentator Simon Doull expressed his deep concerns towards India and the families who are dealing with the deadly pandemic.
IPL was officially suspended indefinitely after four players from three different franchises tested COVID positive. Two coaches from CSK were also infected with the virus.
“Dear India, You have given me so much over so many years and I am sorry to be leaving you in such trying times. To those who are suffering my heart goes out to you and your families. Please do what you can to stay safe. Until next time take care.” #india #cricket #love – Simon Doull wrote on his Twitter handle.
