TYR Pro Swim Series 2025 Sacramento: Key Players In Contention

The TYR Pro Swim Series 2025 makes another pit stop in Sacramento, California. The event marks yet another action-packed campaign in the ongoing swimming season.

Several stars are set to headline the competition. Among them are many Olympic medalists.

France’s Maxime Grousset, the Olympic bronze medalist at Paris 2024, who captured the men’s 100m butterfly world crown two seasons ago.

American headliners include Katharine Berkoff (Paris Olympic 2024 100m backstroke bronze medalist), Michael Andrew (Tokyo 2020 Olympics gold medalist, seven-time world medalist), Matt Fallon (2023 World 200m breaststroke bronze medalist) and Maximus Williamson (six-time 2023 World Junior Championships gold medalist; four in relays).

The international field at TYR Pro Swim Series 2025 Sacramento includes Canadian Penny Oleksiak (2016 Olympic 100m freestyle co-gold medalist), Australian Sam Short (2023 World 400m free champion) and Frenchman Maxime Grousset (2023 World 100m butterfly champion).

With the NCAA championships just having concluded, many stars of the U.S. team are missing from the entry list including Torri Huske and Gretchen Walsh, both of whom struck gold at the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

American swimmers are preparing for the national championships from June 3-7 in Indianapolis, where the team will be selected for the World Championships in July and August in Singapore.
