Chelsea will have a stiff competition for the European spots from Man City, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa as they all are on for the race and if Chelsea slip up at any point, these teams will be on it.  

They currently sit at the 5th position with 63 points

They currently sit at the 5th position with 63 points, while Manchester United are at the 16th position with 39 points. Man United will be facing a different dilemma as the PL rankings do not matter for them anymore. 

As they cannot be relegated and any amount of wins cannot get them to European spots, so they will be focusing on the Europa League final that will be played by them against Tottenham.

If they manage to win against Tottenham, they will get an automatic spot in the Champions league and will be looking to grab this chance with both hands.
