The stage is set for the UEFA Champions League 2024-25 final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan.
Inter Milan were the first team to qualify for the final, beating Barcelona on a 7-6 aggregate. PSG sealed their spot by registering a 3-1 victory over Arsenal in the two-legged semi-finals.
This is the ultimate stage of Club football and the occasion doesn’t get bigger than this.
Both teams will be giving their 100 percent to win the title. PSG have a chance to complete the treble and also win their 1st Champions league title. Inter Milan will be looking for the 1st trophy of the season as Bologna won the Coppa Italia and Napoli took the Serie A away. It will be a cracker of a match and only the better team will be crowned as the European Champions.
Previous Final Encounters
PSG have never been able to win the Champions League title. The French giants reached the final in 2020 when Bayern Munich narrowly beat them, thanks to a solitary goal by Kingsley Coman. In the last season, PSG crashed out of the semi-finals after suffering a 2-0 loss to Borussia Dortmund on aggregate.
Inter Milan have become the European champions three times in history. The Italian outfit lifted back-to-back titles in 1964 and 1965 before replicating the feat in 2010, beating Bayern Munich 2-0 in the final. But lost in the 2022/23 final against Manchester City.
The PSG vs Inter Milan final will be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
The UCL final was last played in Munich in 2012 when Chelsea established their European dominance by defeating home favourite Bayern Munich.
