Liverpool and Manchester United expressed their sorrow at the death of a 9-year-old fan on Tuesday.
Jordan Banks was killed by a lightning strike while training with Clifton Rangers Junior Football Club. The incident happened on Tuesday at Blackpool.
Jordan was rushed to the hospital where he has pronounced dead soon after.
The Liverpool team, in a gesture of tribute, practiced ahead of their clash with Manchester United wearing a jersey with Jordan Banks’s name on it.
The Team’s Twitter account also posted a heartfelt message in memory of their young fan.

Both teams said that they are deeply saddened by what happened and would pray for his Loved ones tonight.
