The tennis grass-court season will reach its crescendo with the Wimbledon Championships that will see the best players of the world in action. Wimbledon will enter its 138th edition as the third Grand Slam of the year get underway from from June 30 to July 13. 

Wimbledon 2025 actions will take place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, England. For the first time ever in the Wimbledon Championship’s history, line judges will be replaced with automated electronic line judges.

The defending champion of the Men’s singles draw will be Carlos Alcaraz from Spain and the Women’s singles defending champion will be Barbora Krejčíková from the Czech Republic.

The Wimbledon 2025 draw will take place at 10am UK time on June 27.

Wimbledon 2025: Full Schedule

Following the Wimbledon qualifying tournament – which runs from June 23 to June 26 – the Grand Slam event will officially get underway on June 30. The tournament will be staged over two weeks – with no rest days. The final will be played on July 13.

The gates open each day at 10am. Play is provisionally scheduled to start on outside courts at 11am. On the No.1 Court, play starts at 1pm and on Centre Court, play stars at 1.30pm.

Wimbledon 2025: Prize money breakdown

The 2025 edition of Wimbledon carries a total prize pot of £53,550,000 (about $72m). This is the biggest prize money in the history of the tournament. The figure is a 7% increase from that of 2024 edition. This is also the biggest Grand Slam reward ever. For the first time in history, a Grand Slam singles champion will earn £3,000,000 (about $4m).
