The FIH Pro League 2024-25 season ended in Berlin on June 29. Netherlands swept both the men’s and women’s titles, establishing themselves as the the hockey powerhouse.
Belgium finished second in the men’s competition while settled for third position in the women’s division.
Each team played 16 matches at the FIH Pro League 2024-25 – two against each of the other eight teams in double round robin format – and the team that topped the standings at the end of the season was crowned champion.
The FIH Pro League 2024-25 also served as a qualifying event for the 2026 men’s and women’s Hockey World Cups. The nation that topped the standings at the end of the season, not already qualified as a host or through the Pro League 2023-24, earns an FIH World Cup berth.
The team finishing last in the FIH Hockey Pro League 2024-25 have been relegated to FIH Nations Cup next season. They will be replaced by the winners of the FIH Hockey Nations Cup for the next season.
