Former Australian Cricketer Michael Vaughan recently compared Indian batsman Virat Kohli with Kiwi batsman Kane Williamson saying “If Williamson had stayed in India, he would have been the best player in the world.” However former Pakistani captain Salman Butt reacted to his comments to which Vaughan has a reply.
“Kohli is a country with a huge population. Obviously, he will have a bigger fanbase. After all, his performance is even better at the moment with a huge 80 international tons, more than any other batsman of this era. And for a long time, he has dominated the batting rankings because his performance was great. So I don’t understand what the comparison is and where it is needed, “Butt said on his YouTube channel.
The former was also found joking about his efficiency as a player saying that he never scored a century and his words are just meant for controversy.
However, Michael Vaughan has come up with a reply to his reactions on Twitter.
He said, “No idea what the headline is … but I have seen what Salman has said about me … that’s fine and he is allowed his opinion but I wished he had such a clear thought of mind back in 2010 when he was Match-fixing !!!”
