PSG Humiliate Real Madrid 4-0 to Book Club World Cup Final vs Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain didn’t just beat Real Madrid they embarrassed them. A semi-final? More like a statement. Luis Enrique’s PSG stormed into the FIFA Club World Cup final with a brutal 4-0 demolition job on Los Blancos at MetLife Stadium.

And guess what? It was game over in 24 minutes.

Real Madrid imploded early. Raúl Asencio gift-wrapped the opener for Fabián Ruiz in the 6th minute, a comedy of errors after Courtois clattered into Dembele, but the ref played advantage and PSG pounced.

Then it was Dembele turning from victim to executioner racing through in the 9th minute after Antonio Rudiger’s air-swing made it look like he’d never played football before. Calm finish. 2-0. Chaos in white shirts.

Next came the dagger. A silky give-and-go between Hakimi and Dembele carved Real open, and Ruiz bagged his second. 3-0. Barely 20 minutes gone.

The Madrid backline? More like cardboard cutouts.

Real tried to respond but without the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold, they looked completely lost. Gonçalo Ramos added the fourth late on to seal the deal. Game, set, humiliation.

Kylian Mbappe was on the pitch but for Real Madrid.

Watching his former side absolutely batter his new one. Since he left on a free last summer, PSG have gone from “Neymar & Friends” to football’s version of a steamroller.

Despite Mbappe racking up a ridiculous 48 goal contributions in 2024-25, Real end the season trophyless. PSG? They’re eyeing trophy number four of 2025 or five if you count the French version of the Community Shield (they definitely will).

They’ve battered Inter 5-0, slapped Atleti 4-0, saw off Bayern 2-0 with nine men, and now humbled Madrid 4-0. Luis Enrique’s team presses like maniacs, passes like Pep’s old Barca, and finishes like prime MSN. Right now, no team can live with them.

Who stood out? Honestly, who didn’t?

Ruiz was at the double, but he wasn’t alone. That PSG midfield bossed the game, the front three danced through Madrid’s backline, and Hakimi at right-back was basically playing as a winger with turbo mode activated.

End of an era

There was an emotional farewell too, Luka Modric, 39 years young, made his 597th and final appearance for Real Madrid. He’ll join AC Milan next season, bringing down the curtain on a golden era in white.

What’s next?

Chelsea await PSG in Sunday’s Club World Cup final in New Jersey. And PSG won’t be done with London just yet, they kick off 2025-26 with a UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham on August 13.
