Jannik Sinner, the current world number one in men’s singles tennis, is on his course to fill the void left by legends like Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. The year 2024 proved to be the breakout season for the tennis star where he won two grand slams ATP Finals title and the Davis Cup with Italy. He won eight ATP titles during the season, surpassing 50 victories for the second straight year and reaching 70 for the first time.
He continued his successful momentum in 2025 s well where he opened the season with a title win at Australian Open.
In February 2025, Sinner accepted a three-month suspension from tennis after reaching a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) over two positive doping tests the previous year. He returned to the ATP Tour in May 2025 for the clay challenge. he reached the final of French Open where he lost to Carlos Alcaraz. However, the table skidded on grass as the Italian took a sweet revenge and defeated Alcaraz in the final of Wimbledon Championships.

Sinner won his second major at the 2024 US Open, defeating 12th seed Taylor Fritz in the final. He became the fourth man in more than 50 years to win his first two major titles in the same season.
Australian Open 2025
The Italian defeated Alexander Zverev in straight sets to successfully defend his AO title.
Wimbledon 2025
Sinner won his first Wimbledon title in 2025 defeating Carlos Alcaraz in four sets in the final. With the victory, he became the first Italian to win the Wimbledon singles championship.
