China scripted history at the BWF Hong Kong Open 2025 by producing a clean sweep at the tournament. The country won all the five titles that was on offer at the tournament.
With this, China became the first country to achieve this feat in the BWF World Tour era. Since the launch of the BWF World Tour in 2018, no nation had managed to win all five titles in a single competition, until China did it on September 14.
The 2025 Hong Kong Open was the twenty-first tournament of the 2025 BWF World Tour. It was the 35th edition of the tournament.
China, which has been a badminton powerhouse, delivered the perfect result that will go into the history books of badminton.

How Much Did Champions Earn At Hong Kong Open 2025?
Singles champions Li Shifeng (Men’s) and Wang Zhiyi (Women’s) earned US$37,500 each for their title victory. On the other hand, runners-up Lakshya Sen and Han Yue, respectively, took home US$19,000 each.
In the doubles, all the three winning pairs got rewarded US$39,500 each while the other finalists duos earned US$19,000 each.
