Mohammad Ashraful Set for T20 World Cup and a Possible Long-Term Run

BCB Applauds Ashraful’s Fast Growth as a Coach
Nazmul Hassan sounded extremely confident about Mohammad Ashraful’s coaching attributes, underlining the latter’s profound understanding of batting and that he is a born coach of players.
Nazmul says that Ashraful has demonstrated proper commitment and enthusiasm, not just holding the position for a long period but learning and adapting quickly. He added that the qualities needed for coaching are found in the former Bangladesh captain and that the board values his early progress.
Salahuddin to Stay On as Senior Assistant Coach
Nazmul further confirmed that Mohammad Salahuddin will also continue as the senior assistant coach. Even though Salahuddin had submitted his resignation following the Ireland series, the board didn’t accept it. He agreed to stay in the national setup after discussions with senior officials.
BCB Plans Flexible Coaching Structure Moving Forward

The board intends to rotate local and foreign coaches among the various roles, depending on the requirements of the national team, A team, or High Performance, and their availability. This is aimed at optimizing resources throughout Bangladesh cricket.
