There are no changes to the franchise’s leadership; Shubman Gill is the captain and Ashish Nehra is the head coach. GT will be playing all of their home games at the Narendra Modi Stadium (which is the largest stadium in the world) in Ahmedabad.
New Additions to the Coaching Staff
Before the season began, Gujarat Titans added to their current staff through the addition of having a number of highly experienced individuals in those roles.
Matthew Hayden joined as the Batting Coach.
Also joining as an Assistant Coach is Vijay Dahiya.
Both additions should provide the franchise better opportunities from which to develop their strategy and tactical approach while also developing more depth within their batting order.

As the IPL 2026 Mini Auction got underway, Gujarat Titans could enter with a completely established player roster of 20. Their objective was to fill holes and needs within their existing roster rather than making large changes to their rosters.
