Ind vs Afg: The Indian selection committee, headed by Ajit Agarkar, Pragyan Ojha, and Pravin Kumar, has picked the ODI and Test squad for the upcoming series against Afghanistan right in the Indian Premier League season 19. The selection takes place in Guwahati, where the Test and ODI squads are picked. Team India star players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are back again in the blue jersey. Meanwhile, India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is not in the squad. Neither in Test nor in ODI. The wait is over for Ishan Kishan
Team India’s Star player Ishan Kishan got the chance in the ODI squad. He returned to the Indian side after 3 years. Last time he played for India back in 2023 against the Afganishtan, and again he will play against Afghanistan after a big span of three years. Ishan has been in magnificent form for the last few months, and especially the way he played in the T20 World Cup was just remarkable. It will be a big opportunity for him to make a huge impact even in the ODI ahead of the ODI World Cup 2027.
Kl Rahul new Vice Captain of Test team
KL Rahul appointed as a new Vice Captain for the Indian team in Test format. Selection commitee has removed Rishabh Pant amid bad form during the Indian Premier league. Meanwhile, KL Rahul has been in explosive form. Even though in IPL season 19, he made a highest individual score by an Indian in IPL, Which shows his intent of playing cricket.
