Manish Pandey is one of the finest and fittest senior players in the history of the Indian Premier League(IPL). Since 2008, he has been playing for different franchises every season. First Indian to hit a century in IPL

Neither Virat Kohli nor Rohit Sharma nor anyone else. Manish Pandey is the first Indian player to hit a century in the history of the Indian Premier League. On 21st May against Deccan Charges, Manish created a historic record which will never be broken. He played a sensational inning of 114 runs in just 74 balls, where he hit 14 boundaries and became the first Indian Origin player to hit a century in IPL ever.  

Pandey also joined the elite list of Rohit-Virat

Manish Pandey is the third player, alongside Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, to feature in every IPL season since it started. Which means Manish Pandey is playing for the season and still running. Pandey is 36 years old, and the kind of fitness he has suggests that he will play more than a couple of seasons as of now.

Chasing down a target of 200 runs in the final of the Indian Premier League season 7 against the Punjab Kings, KKR nailed it in style, and the main reason behind Kolkata’s second title is none other than Manish Pandey. That night, Pandey showed a one-man show and played a match-winning knock of 94 runs off just 50 balls with the help of 7 boundaries and 6 sixes, with a magnificent strike rate of 188.90, and lifted the 2nd Trophy for his franchise KKR.
