Shubman Gill became the first captain in the history of IPL to score hundred in IPL playoffs matches, Earlier the best score records were held by David Warner and Rajat Patidar. But last night against the Rajasthan Royals Gill broke all the records and achieved the massive feat of being a captain.

Gill created history in Playoffs
Shubman Gill became the first captain to make a century in IPL knockout matches. He scored 104 runs of 53 balls including 15 boundaries and 3 sixes with a strike rate of 196.23, he initiated his inning with Sai Sudharsan and both gave a good start to the team and Sai got hit wicket on 58 runs and then Gill took team to the final single handedly and also achieved a record of making most runs as a captain in playoffs matches.
GT will appear in Third IPL final
The Gujarat Titans are into their third final of the Indian Premier League. They have won their maiden IPL title in 2022 under the captaincy of Hardik Pandya, In year 2023 Gujarat has reached the final but they lose it against the Chennai Super Kings and now It is third time they are into the final and it will be a huge opportunity to beat the defending champion bangalore to seize the second IPL title.
