We know how important was the second innings. Virat just mentioned the effort from the batsmen, and as a unit, it was really important. It’s my first overseas hundred. Glad that I could get the team into an important position.”
Furthermore, Rohit shared how reaching a three-mark figure wasn’t in his mind. The pressure was on the batting unit and so the team had to get to that. He shared how after taking the lead, the pressure was on the bowlers. Rohit reassures that it was important for him to contribute to the team’s effort. And yes that’s exactly what he did!
