Rohit Sharma gets the man of the match for his brilliant first international ton.

In India vs England fourth test match, team India has defeated England by 157 runs. A complete team effort to get back into the game and come back stronger towards the end.

The BCCI also shares a video of Rohit Sharma and a few other players speaking of their victory. Rohit said,” I wanted to be on the field as much as I could. That hundred was special. We know how important was the second innings. Virat just mentioned the effort from the batsmen, and as a unit, it was really important. It’s my first overseas hundred. Glad that I could get the team into an important position.”

Furthermore, Rohit shared how reaching a three-mark figure wasn’t in his mind. The pressure was on the batting unit and so the team had to get to that. He shared how after taking the lead, the pressure was on the bowlers. Rohit reassures that it was important for him to contribute to the team’s effort. And yes that’s exactly what he did!

Right from the start, KL Rahul and Sharma’s batting was extremely crucial. Rohit also believes it was important for the team to embrace the challenge.

Well, this is not the end, Team India is in lead with 2-1 in the test series. But, the final test will be underway soon. This match will be played at the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester. Best of luck to Team India!
