Marcus Rashford return spoiled
Marcus Rashford scored on his return from injury lay-off. However, it was in vain as Leicester City ran out 4-2 winners at the King Power Stadium on Saturday evening.
Mason Greenwood and Tielemans with stunners
Mason Greenwood gave Manchester United the lead with a spectacular effort on goal in the 19th minute. The double-footed winger, cut in on his left and unleashed a fierce drive to the far top corner beating Schmeichel for power.
Cristiano Ronaldo failed to put United on the lead, a few moments later as his shot was straight at Schmeichel.
Meanwhile, Leicester leveled the scoring in the 30th minute with another stunning goal in the game as Youri Tielemans measured strike/lob ended in the far top bin of the United’s goal. Leicester City could have scored a second goal, late into the first half stoppage time after a well worked set-piece.
Matic nearly scored a third wonder strike of the match, when his thunderous half volley, perfectly caught, went just over the cross bar. The Serbian’s strike was rising all the way through.
Tielemans could have scored his second of the day if not for David De Gea’s astonishing save in the 75th minute that made the ball hit the post and go behind for a corner.
Two minutes later, Jamie Vardy released substitute Daka in behind, who’s strike was saved once again by De Gea and Maguire put the ball in behind for a corner.
Caglar Soyuncu scored from the corner after a scramble inside the Manchester United box to give the foxes the lead.

Marcus Rashford scored on his return from injury to level the scoring for Manchester United in the 82nd minute. Lindelof released the Englishman with a beautiful lobbed pass in behind the Leicester defense for the goal.
However, Leicester had much more in give Man United as they scored their third a minute later. Vardy scored in the 83rd minute with a sliced half volley after a cut back from Ayoze Perez.
Meanwhile, Patson Daka scored his side’s fourth of the day after yet another scramble inside the Manchester United box following a set-piece to give Leicester City their 3rd win of the campaign. Brendan Rodger’s side is currently sitting in the 11th spot after a disappointing start to the season, compared to their last two campaigns under the Scotsman.
Manchester United, meanwhile has dropped to fifth spot with the defeat and is four points off leaders Chelsea and two points off city rivals, Manchester City.
