Virat Kohli opened up about playing in pressure situations. Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli didn’t have a great season at IPL 2022. It was the first season Virat Kohli played after leaving the captaincy role.
Former RCB skipper Virat Kohli scored 341 runs in 16 matches he played this season. His highest tally was 73 runs which came in the last league game of the IPL 2022 which was a must win game for RCB. He won it for RCB and took the team to the playoffs of IPL 2022.
“I love playing under pressure. In fact, if there’s no pressure, then I am not in the perfect zone,” said Virat Kohli via the RCB podcast posted by RCB’s official Twitter account.
Despite having a poor season, he still scored more than 300 runs with an average of 22.23. Virat also changed his batting position in midseason. He started to open the innings along with skipper Faf du Plessis. While opening the innings for RCB in previous seasons he holds great stats.
