Indian cricket team will face England in the first T20I at Southampton on 7th July. After Test series, India is due to play the 3-match T20I and ODI series against England in their home. Indian team have already announced the squad for these T20Is and ODIs. Skipper Rohit Sharma who was tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of the big Test match at Edgbaston and missed out on this match is back in the team for the T20Is.
Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian side as he himself gave updates on his health in a pre-match press conference. Rohit Sharma is now fully fit to play the game for India and he will be seen in the first T20Is. As the last Test match ended on 5th July, so some players have been given rest for the first T20I. But the players will be back before second and the third T20I.
