The Premier League (2022/23) has been started and the first game was as entertaining as fans expected. All the 20 teams will play their first games this weekend. Defending champions Manchester City will be playing against David Moyes’ West Ham on Sunday, 7th August. Ahead of this game, Pep Guardiola faced some media questions.
Manchester City manager Pep was also asked about his new signed striker Erling Haaland who they bought from Borussia Dortmund this summer. The reporter asked him about his goalscoring abilities. Reporter asked whether it will be difficult for the new man to adapt in the Premier League as it is more physical, more competitive than other league. Pep Guardiola feels the goals from his new striker Erling Haaland is imminent.
“Be careful what you say. We were lucky that we have him (Erling Haaland). A special talent, his ability with the feet, vision in the pass. He has come from a injury and needs time to find the rhythm,” said Pep Guardiola on a video posted by Sky Sports.
Erling Haaland is training well as said by his manager and thus expected to make his Premier League debut for Manchester City on Sunday against West ham.
