Indian cricket team will be heading to Zimbabwe for the three-match ODI series against them. After this three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe, India will play the Asia Cup which is starting from 27th this month. Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has already announced the Indian squad for the Asia Cup 2022 and they have also announced the squad player names who will be traveling to Zimbabwe before that.

Earlier BCCI named opening batter Shikhar Dhawan captian of the Indian cricket team, but after KL Rahul was declared match-fit, he was then named captain of team. Fans aren’t impressed with this decision from BCCI as they feel it is unfair to take over the captaincy from Shikhar Dhawan. Shikhar Dhawan was the captain of the team in the 3-match ODI series against West Indies and became the only skipper of Indian team to whitewash them in their home. But, KL Rahul will now lead the team in this Zimbabwe’s series.
