Manchester United’s priority target Antony wants to join the side this summer and thus pushing for the deal. At the start of this summer transfer window, United were favourites to sign him and they were very near but later when Ajax increase their prices, United back off.
Now Manchester United has again generated interest in their priority forward target Antony of Ajax. Antony has reportedly skipped training for straight two days. Ajax know that he wants the move and wants to leave the club this summer. Antony wants to play for Erik ten Hag again and this time in the Premier League. Manchester United made a bid of €80 million to Ajax for the Brazilian forward, but the club rejected that.
Ajax have made it clear that they will sell the player at a high price. According to reports, Manchester United are not ready to give up so early for this deal, they will make an improved bid and will try to go all-out for Antony. However as per Fabrizio Romano, United have kept a cheaper option as well namely Cody Gakpo who has a same agents as Erik ten Hag (Manchester United’s manager).
