Indian cricket team are currently playing against Zimbabwe in the third and the last ODI of the series at Harare Sports Club, Zimbabwe. Indian team have already won the series against Zimbabwe as they won both of the opening games which was played on 18th and 20th August respectively.

Indian team won the toss in this game as well but this time they decided to bat first. It is a correct decision so far as Indian batters are doing a great job. Indian opening batter Shubman Gill who is in exceptional form this year has scored a century in this ongoing game against Zimbabwe.

This was Indian cricketer Shubman Gill’s first ever ODI century in International cricket in blue jersey. Indian opener was unlucky during the series against West Indies as rain didn’t let him complete his century (3rd ODI) and he had to go back to pavilion on 98* runs. Shubman’s wait is over now as he gets his maiden ton in ODIs for India. BCCI may look Shubman as a long-term opening option for India in the ODI cricket seeing his current form.
