English county cricket is also pretty famous and there are few Indian players who play for some of their clubs. Recently, Glamorgan have signed Indian cricket team opening batter Shubman Gill for the new season of County Championship. Shubman Gill will make his debut in this County Championship after the club signed him.
The opener (Shubman Gill) is in a great form this year. He also got his hundred in the series between India and Zimbabwe. In the third ODI against Zimbabwe, Shubman Gill opened the innings and dominated their bowlers. Shubman Gill had a chance to score his first century at Trinidad but the innings got abandoned due to rain. Looking at Shubman Gill’s amazing form, Glamorgan has decided to take him for the opening role in this county championship. Shubman Gill has also agreed to their terms and will be seen playing the tournament for them.
Shubman Gill hasn’t been picked up by the selectors or BCCI for the upcoming Asia Cup but it could be possible that in the coming years the youngster will be one of the important part of the Indian cricket team.
