South Africa and Zimbabwe will be locking horns for the T20 World Cup match at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.

Starting from the first rounds, the team has proved to be a strong one by demonstrating their dazzling performance at the qualifier stage. The team is said to possess strong all-rounder, Sikander Raza who was successful in making immense contributions at the tournament. 

However, the Captain of the team is said to return after being followed by a hamstring injury. Senior players like Wellington Masakadza, Tendai Chatara and Milton Shumba have been reported to make a comeback, after recovering from injuries. And, fast bowler, Blessing Muzarabani has been recalled as well.

On the other hand, South Africa is considered to be the dominant one, with strong competitors by their side. However, the team was successful in registering a victory against team India at the final T20I. Furthermore, as batsmen options the team is said to have some of the best hitters like David Miller, Aiden Markram, and Quinton de Kock. 

Also, they are said to possess excellent spinners with a multi-faceted bowling attack. However, their player Rassie van der Dussen has been ruled out, after being reported to have a finger fracture. In the meanwhile, the skipper Temba Bavuma has made it to the team, post recovering from an injury in his elbow. Another cricketer, Tristan Stubbs will be playing his first cap at the tournament, in the absence of Van Der Dussen.

Based on past T20 records, South Africa have registered 5 wins over the team of Zimbabwe. But Zimbabwe is yet to register a victory against the Proteas in T20 format.

Considering the previous records and past experiences, South Africa might win over the upcoming match against Zimbabwe. But Zimbabwe is equally expected to showcase their potential and progress in the upcoming matches of the T20 World Cup 2022.
