Real Madrid and Barcelona are going to face each other in the Spanish capital in a tight La Liga game on Sunday, 11th April.
The winner of Sunday’s game would go all the way to the top of the table in the team standings.
The race to the La Liga opened up with Atletico Madrid’s shocking defeat to Sevilla FC last week which opened up the title hopes for both Real Madrid and Barcelona. Though the Atletico side is still in contention for the trophy, their chances look slim especially with their star striker Luis Suarez out with an injury.
Real Madrid on other hand would be boosted up after handing Liverpool a 3-1 loss recently in the Champions League. Nevertheless, they would miss the services of their captain and star defender Sergio Ramos who has been sidelined with a muscle injury in his left leg.
Barcelona is the only European side that is yet to face a defeat in the year 2021 and Ronald Koeman’s side would love to keep that distinction intact.
