3 Min Read

In cricket, we frequently pay attention to who is striking, bowling, and fielding but neglect to pay attention to the wicketkeeper.

Behind the stumps, a wicketkeeper must be alert, nimble, and quick to react. Any game could have a win or loss depending on it. Therefore, each team’s starting 11 must include a capable wicketkeeper.

Here’s the list of wicketkeepers who have the most dismissals

Mark Boucher, a South African who has participated in all three cricket formats, is regarded as one of the greatest wicketkeeper-batsmen of all time. Mark is the first wicketkeeper in the history of test cricket to reach 400 dismissals, and he holds the record for the most wicketkeeper dismissals (532 catches and 23 stumpings) ever.
