Players playing for Ireland’s team have two Flags and Two Anthem. The Republic of Ireland has a flag that has three colours representing colours like green, white, and orange. Ireland’s flag contains deep Irish cultural sentiments. The Anthem of Ireland is a soldier’s song, and God saved the queen. Beforehand the team could not choose between the two. So, the same goes for the flags for them. The team has two flags as the country’s-based choices.

The flags that the Irish team used were taken up by this team. Ireland’s team uses two flags for their matches altogether. It contains a logo officially designed for this and a song called Ireland’s call.

The History Behind the Two Flags of Ireland

It all started when the Irish Nationalists fought for their country to gain independence from British Control. Ireland follows the Catholic religion mainly, but then what is new about them is that there are many small religious groups in their place. Roman Catholics are the main group among the other religious groups there.

It is the Tricolour flag that represents Ireland as a nation. The one built under the cricket symbol is the second flag the country chose to represent them in country cricket. At the world cup of 2011, it had a disc that represented a cricket ball and some writings with white over it, and the main theme colour of the flag was set to green.

The flags also have some relevance with the churches situated in England, Wales, and Scotland. The United Kingdom, which is of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, is merged with the Republic of Ireland team, and the team comprises players from both places. The story behind the country having two flags as theirs also has to do with its geographical history. Ireland and Northern Ireland are known to be one. Many times, it has come in the news as well that the Nation has two flags as one Nation and two flags. Not only did the country have two flags, but as the British government suggested with their bills, they had two governments working for them.

Just like the tiranga, the Flag of Ireland has three main colours as its theme. Only apart from the navy-blue chakra in between the flag or centroiding is the main concept that belongs to the Indian flag itself. The colours might be somewhat the same for both Nations, but Indian Flag sets itself differently, with the Ashok Chakra in place as the centre main theme in the Indian Flag. This much was about why Ireland has two flags as one Nation. Hope the Article brings facts to build knowledge in all of us.
