In the 8th match of the VIVO IPL 2021, Chennai Super Kings beat Punjab Kings by 6 wickets, in a thoroughly one-sided dominant performance by CSK in bowling and batting both. This was an indeed special occasion for the team as well. Dhoni played his 200th match in CSK jersey and finishing off with the win, is just like a cherry on the top.

The 39-year-old, who has led CSK to three IPL titles, is at the eighth spot in the list of leading run-getters in IPL, with 4,632 runs (4,058 for CSK). He has played for CSK in 176 IPL games and 24 Champions league T20 games.
CSK was super dominant last night in their victory what they thoroughly deserved. Deepak Chahar was majestic with his bowling. He was the main reason why Punjab Kings’ batting crumbled all the way along. Deepak took 4 wickets for 13 in a 4 over spell and even bowled a wicket maiden 7th over of the innings. Moeen Ali, while chasing missed his fifty but scored a well-made 46 off 31 balls. This indeed made up for the best moment, to cherish MSD’s super accomplishment.
