Kolkata knight riders have found themselves in deeply troubled waters as they have lost their whole batting lineup at a very low score. KKR is chasing the target of 220 runs set by CSK after an amazing inning by Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis.

The chase began with Nitish Rana and Shubhman Gill opening for KKR. Deepak Chahar took Gills wicket in the first over as he went for a duck at a low score of 5 runs. Deepak Chahar returned to bowl his second over after an over by Sam Curran. He took the wicket of Nitish Rana in the third over and at a meager score of 17 runs and sent both opening batsmen to the pavilion.

Skipper Morgan departed in Chahar’s third over after he edged the ball to Dhoni. He took the wicket of Tripathi after leading him the same way he leads Morgan and handing out his ball to Dhoni behind the wickets.

At a score of 31/5 at 5.2 overs, KKR’s match-winning probability appears thin.
